Music in Mind Evaluation

Rhythmix delivers Music in Mind, an innovative programme for young people with mental health problems. The programme uses music making to enhance life chances and offers tangible help to children and young people with mental health problems. Children and Young People with mental health problems often experience significant issues in life, either causing or as a result of mental health issues. By giving these young people an opportunity to gain vocational skills and have a positive creative outlet through music making opportunities, Rhythmix can offer an opportunity to gain the self belief and skills necessary to move forward in life.

This independent evaluation of the programme was conducted by Dr Alison Daubney and Gregory Daubney MSc. The External Evaluation took place between April 2013 and March 2016. Projects took place across East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton & Hove Kent and Surrey.
